Overview

 Our research examines the appropriate environment for woman-centered delivery and nursing, such as “Pregnant Women’s Selection of Birth Place and Options”. Our works also examine the development of midwifery techniques, such as “Evidence-based Midwifery Care”, “Mother’s and Children’s Sleep during the Pregnancy and Postpartum Periods”, “Methods to Reduce Pregnant Women’s Stress”,　and “Quality Improvement for childbirth care primarily by midwives ”. As an method to evaluate the learning and training process and clinical practice of midwifery students, we have carried out the “OSCE before completing the midwifery practical course at graduate school” and surveyed the assessment of usefulness.
